Military Sealift Command testing with Thrustmaster Portable Dynamic Positioning SystemFor more than twenty years, Thrustmaster has been a supplier of thrusters to the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Army and Air Force as well as many foreign militaries all over the world.

Thrustmaster products are available in special configurations for testing and deployment such as the most recent VTAST (Vehicle Transfer At-Sea Test) to preceed actual vessel construction. (Watch released video). The purpose of this test is to leverage deep sea offshore oil technology such as Thrustmasters Portable Dynamic Positioning System for non-traditional naval applications in order to conduct military operations through sea-state 3 - 4.

Thrustmaster is set to meet military specification requirements such as explosive shock impact resistance per MIL-S-901D (or similar), low hydro-acoustic signature, control of electromagnetic emission, surface noise attenuation, etc. Thrustmaster has extensive experience in providing Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) per MIL-STD-1388 and related standards.

For foreign militaries, Thrustmaster is fully qualified to receive FMS and FMF credit funds per the DSCA Guidelines.

For U.S. militaries, Thrustmaster’s CAGE Code is 65848 and many Thrustmaster products are available through our GSA Schedule Contract #GS07F0204J at up to $2,000,000 per order. Contact Bert Ault at (713) 937-6295 for details.

We offer bow and stern thrusters, tunnel type or retractable azimuth. We also offer propulsion units for lightering barges, causeway ferries and barge propulsion. For sea-basing and deep water salvage, we offer complete modular dynamic positioning systems.
