Installing 2000hp Thrusters on Catamaran
Style Vessel
This brief animated video shows a Catamaran
style construction vessel receiving DP thrusters. The thrusters
are located on the inside of the vessels hulls leaving the outboard
sides free and clear of obstructions. This is a variation of
the first Catamaran installation done on the Titan II.

VTAST (Vehicle Transfer At Sea Test)
The US Navy has been given instructions
to identify and test commercially available equipment for military
service. Here, Thrustmaster's Portable Dynamic Positioning System
is attached to the Might Servant 3 in order to maintain position
next to the USNS Soderman for over 100 hours as a ramp was tested
to transfer vehicles from one ship to another.
