Mini-skid units preserve precious deck space. The engine
can be installed remotely and a single engine may power multiple
thrusters.

Dynamic Positioning System.
THRUSTMASTER Mini-Skid AutoCAD Drawings
The “Thrustmaster” is recommended for up to 2000hp
per unit for dynamic positioning applications ,double-ended river
ferries and similar applications where thru 360 degree steering
is required. It uses a multi-port hydraulic swivel assembly and
hydraulic motor powered slewing drives for steering.

WORKMASTER Mini-Skid AutoCAD Drawings
The “Workmaster” is recommended for general propulsion
applications. Since the propeller can run in reverse as easily
as it runs in forward mode by virtue of the over-center hydrostatic
transmission drive, the “Workmaster” is capable of
directing thrust in any direction of the compass. It uses a hydraulic
actuator for steering and is simpler and less expensive than
the “Thrustmaster”.
